It has been decided that come 2012, I will be a worker ant in the process of building an Ivory version of Mecca in the desert. I’m excited to sweat and create.

111202 Korner

So they say. They say a lot. Like some, say you shouldn’t do design work for family and friends and to an extent, I believe this. However, I started reevaluating this idea. Instead of doing free work, I’m doing work for trade. A skilled designer like myself has so much to offer my friends and family and if they have something to trade with me then all the better. 111201 The Bat

This design is both used as whatever it is use for here. But also, I have added this bit to a batman lamp in my room. Not that you care, but my room is super fun.

111114 Tilt

I was inspired by the idea of both tilt shift photography and the tilt that is in reference to pinball machines. I don’t know what i love so much about the word tilt but it rolls of the tongue perfectly. I’ll always love the word. I’m a total logophile. (look it up!)

5 fingers and 5 toes and in the image of God. Chrysalids is the story of a lonely boy who finds a friend who is doomed to be cleansed. In the world of Chrysalids, any form of abnormality is punishable by death.

111021 Ahab’s Moby

This has been long dormant in my sketchbook. It was a quiet beast lurking in the depth only to surface and form enemies. This beast was an enemy of gods and an enemy of Ahab’s and only near the end was it that god forsook Ahab and gave the beast peace. The lesson? Be weary of pride and thankful of gifts.

111012 Virgil’s Jupiter

I like to occasionally think about the presence of gods in our daily life. Once, it was accepted to worship and thank many different gods for a variety of well know scientific principles. The mystery is gone now but in history we are given light on past days. This design is for both Jupiters. For the King of the Gods and for the Gaseous Giant.

I enjoy bands and I enjoy wagons so I decided to jump on board the band wagon. YAY! The new owner of this sign will feel posh while on the picket line.
